v0.1 · Now Live · DOI Issued

Governed knowledge infrastructure
for the AI era

NodeRail gives researchers, practitioners, and field founders a permanent, versioned, citable home for their intellectual work — with DOI issuance, Git-based lineage, and governance built in from the start. As AI systems begin to consume structured knowledge at scale, NodeRail ensures that what they access carries authorship, provenance, and a clear record of what it is and where it came from.

Permanent DOIs

Every node version receives a DOI via Zenodo. Your work becomes a citable artifact, not a link that breaks.

Git Lineage

Every contribution is timestamped and version-controlled. Fork, extend, or adopt with full lineage preserved.

Structured Nodes

Fields, Frameworks, Measurements, and Projects are structured units that connect and compound over time.

Who it's for

Starting with the people who feel the continuity problem most acutely

NodeRail begins with field founders, researchers, and practitioners. Universities and enterprise teams are roadmap v0.2.

Field Founders

Field Founders

Defining a new domain of practice or research. NodeRail gives your field a permanent constitution, canonical constructs, and a governance record that outlasts your direct involvement.

Researchers

Researchers & PhD Candidates

Publishing frameworks, measurements, and projects that extend a field. Every contribution gets a permanent DOI, version history, and a clear intellectual lineage.

Practitioners

Practitioners & Consultants

Applying and extending knowledge in real contexts. Document what you built, cite what you used, and contribute back to the fields your work depends on.

How it works

Five steps from idea to citable infrastructure

1

Create a Field

Define scope, constructs, ethics, and governance

2

Publish Nodes

Add Frameworks, Measurements, and Projects

3

Version It

Every change is timestamped in Git

4

Issue a DOI

Each release receives a permanent DOI via Zenodo

5

Fork & Continue

Others extend your work with full lineage preserved

Node types

Four structured units of intellectual work

Field

Field Node

Defines a domain: scope, constructs, ethics, governance, and a constitution for contributions.

Framework

Framework Node

A reusable method, model, or operational playbook inside a field. Citable and forkable.

Measurement

Measurement Node

An instrument, index, or scale for measuring a construct. Versioned and linked to its field.

Project

Project Node

A capstone, case study, or pilot with a required Continuation Hook so work compounds.

Founder Field

The first field being built on NodeRail

Human Capacity Science (HCS)

HCS is the measurement and design of cognitive, emotional, and digital load so capacity does not silently degrade into burnout, errors, or disengagement. The first field to be built on NodeRail, with a complete Field Constitution, Construct Map, Measurement Philosophy, and Ethics Charter in development. Founded by Gao Kabubi, also founder of Dustoff Reset, a cognitive health tool built on HCS principles.

NodeRail & AI

MCP asks what AI can access.
NodeRail asks what AI should trust.

AI systems are consuming structured knowledge at scale through protocols like MCP. What they cannot do is verify it. NodeRail is the provenance and governance layer that answers: who made this, which version is canonical, what changed, should it be trusted.

Authorship

Canonical

Lineage

Trust
